England's day
oh and happy St George's Day. Did you know Shirley Temple was 82 today?
and we have the flag flying from our balcony today, though perhaps fortunately nobody appears to have noticed here in France

For many years, ST George's Day has been hijacked by the BNP. How amusing, therefore that St George himself was Turkish - and probably a Muslim!!
St George lived 300 years before Mohamed, so he could not have been Muslim. He was a Roman soldier and a Christian, from a Turkish family, born in Judea.
