did you spot it?
in this clip from the BBC the other day, the posh-slip in Salter's accent? back to middle class from faux barrow boy, without passing by Jewish west London at all!

Not having a speech therapist's ear, the more shocking thing for me was the man's claim to know something about rebellion.
Hilarious and sad at the same time.
And has anyone else noticed how he's slowly morphing into a double of his predecessor, Tony Durant ?

In the 1950s and 60s "Barrow boy" was a term of abuse directed by teachers towards Jewish middle class boys from West London.
